Small Groups

At Hawley Alliance Church, one of our core components is small groups.  People gather together to pray, study, serve, and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.  There are many different types of groups, brought together by common interests, ages, and life stages.  Some groups meet bi-weekly, some meet monthly or whenever is convenient for the members.  Often, members take turns holding the gatherings in their homes.

The main goals of small groups are to better connect group members to the larger body of Christ at Hawley Alliance Church and to show as a small group that this is a Christ-Centered Family Church.  Each small group is responsible for one service project each year; service toward others outside the group, together as a team at one time, as a mission effort for God and includes the group’s time, resources, mercy and sacrifice.  Projects range from organizing the church storage room, to spending time with residents at the Manor.

If you would like more information about small groups here at Hawley Alliance, please see the Information Wall in the foyer for a Small Group Directory pamphlet.

If you are interested in joining a small group, or group leadership is something you are feeling led into, please contact Ryan Lewis or the church office for more information.
