Hawley AWANA Club
(for children ages 5 thru 6th grade)
Meets Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00PM (during the school-year) at the Hawley Alliance Church. If you’re looking for a quality program to change a child’s life, you’ve come to the right place. AWANA is an international, Bible-based children’s ministry which began in 1950. AWANA blends Bible teaching, scripture memorization and tons of fun in a safe, positive atmosphere. All of our AWANA Leaders are carefully screened before they are allowed to become Leaders at our AWANA Program. More than 11,200 American churches and 3,700 churches overseas host an AWANA program.
AWANA comes from the first letters of “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed”, taken from II Timothy 2:15.
